Mission Statement

Our goal is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to see God change people's lives and eternal destinies for His glory!

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." Luke 10:2 ESV

    Douglas Family Mission Focus

We believe the Great Commission calls all Christians to play a part in the evangelization of the local community. This takes place through personal evangelism, and local outreach programs done corporately in the life of the church. We believe the Bible teaches that the church sends missionaries, and partners with them to advance the cause of Christ. We also believe that in Germany we are uniquely positioned and equipped to be a part of sending missionaries to the ends of the Earth.

    • The Church

We affirm that the Church is an integral part of Christ's established plan for the life of all believers. Our family will contribute to the encouraging and "equipping of the saints" (Eph. 4:12) by serving through the local church. In Germany, there are many home churches or "small groups". Our family has led these in the past and we will continue to do so in our ministry.

    • Outreach

We see outreach as an organic part of the Christian life in response to the Great Commission, Matt. 28:18-20. We seek to develop eternal relationships with our neighbors during normal life, as well as intentional outreach projects such as: preaching the gospel, serving in the community through the church, and church planting. Our family is uniquely positioned in Germany to overcome huge cultural barriers to reach others coming out of Catholic, Muslim, and Atheist backgrounds. "I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel..." 1Cor. 9:22-23

    • Long Term Prayer Focus

Refugee/Muslim Ministry...We pray for the Lord to bring disciples from restricted/hostile nations while they are here in Germany. We pray that some of those disciples may receive a calling to send them back to their homes of origin to serve as Spirit-filled pastors and missionaries. We pray for the Lord to use us to advocate for these servants of Christ with churches back in the U.S. to help them preach the Gospel in these dark and persecuted lands. "and unto the uttermost part of the Earth" Acts 1:8.
